Ibstock Enovert Trust has now closed and, as of 5 February 2021, will not be accepting any new applications.

Ibstock Enovert Trust (formerly Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust) was an environmental body which supported community and environmental projects in the vicinity of landfill sites in Dudley, South Gloucestershire, and Sevenoaks operated by Enovert Management Ltd with links to Ibstock Brick Limited.

Established in 2001, the Trust operated for 20 years, awarding grants under the terms of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). The Trust’s activities funded a broad range of projects that have had a positive impact on the community, including improvements to community halls, the creation of new play areas, enhancement of sports facilities, and the restoration of green spaces and habitats.

Following a reduction in funding as landfill sites have reached capacity, the decision was made by the Trustees to wind down the Trust at the end of this financial year (31 March 2021).

As a result, the deadline for the Trust’s last funding round was 5 February 2021 and no new applications will be accepted; any projects selected for support will need to be completed by 31 December 2021.

The Trustees are very proud of what has been achieved over the past two decades, during which time well over 500 projects have been supported with a value of over £9m that have enhanced and improved the environment for communities who live and work in the vicinity of landfill sites operated by Enovert Management Limited and within the vicinity of Ibstock Brick works.

Please note, qualifying projects can still apply for a grant from Enovert Community Trust, or from one of the other approved bodies distributing LCF funding which can be found on ENTRUST’s website.
